The Channel 11 news just came on during the Mets' rain delay. The lead story was Selig's new tougher steroid plan (3 strikes, you're out!). For some reason, while the anchor was explaining the story, they showed highlights from today's A's-Mariners game. They then cut to a clip of Canseco walking and wearing an A's jersey, which I guess somehow linked the steroid story to today's A's game.

And congrats to Jose Reyes, who finally got his OBP above his batting average... by getting hit by a pitch. Actually, the replay indicated that the pitch never hit him, but still good. And what do you know, he scored! Now all he needs is a walk. Come on, Jose, all I'm asking for is one walk. Just one! OK, I'm probably going to ask for more after that, but I'll be happy with one for now.
